Setting up email on an Android device

1. Scroll right
2. Choose Essentials
3. Select E-mail
4. Select the options symbol (three dots top right corner) . Then, choose Settings and then Add account
5. Select Other
   Under E-MAIL ADDRESS , enter your email address
   Under PASSWORD , enter your password
6. Choose MANUAL SETUP
7. Select IMAP and select NEXT
8. Under IMAP SERVER enter mail.talktalk.net
   under SECURITY TYPE choose SSL
   under PORT NUMBER enter 993
   under USERNAME enter your full email address
   under PASSWORD enter your emaill password
9. Scroll down - under E-ADDRESS , enter your full email address
10. Select NEXT The information will be checked, select NEXT
    Under SMTP SERVER , enter smtp.talktalk.net
    Under SECURITY TYPE , choose STARTTLS .
    Under PORT NUMBER , enter 587
11. Scroll down.If Sign-in required is disabled, enable Sign-in required
    If Sign-in required is enabled, go to the next step
12. Under USERNAME , enter your full email address
    Under PASSWORD , enter your email password
13. Select NEXT the information will be checked, select NEXT
14. Under Sync schedule , choose an option Under Email sync period , choose an option
    Under Default e-mail size , choose an option
    then select NEXT
    
15. Under ACCOUNT NAME , enter your full email address
    Under YOUR NAME , enter your full email address
    Choose DONE
16. If you get a permission screen then ACCEPT or go to next step

The email account has been configured and is ready for use. Return to the Start screen

To check the software version of  your LG G6;

• Go directly to the settings or through Applications after that settings
• Scrolldown the menu and click on About the phone
• Here you'll find the Android version

1. Select Apps
2. Select Samsung
3. Select Email
4. Enter your full Email address and Password. Select MANUAL SETUP
5. Select IMAP account
6. Under Username add your full email address
   Under Password add your email password
   Under Incoming server address add mail.talktalk.net
   Security type - Incoming TLS
   Port  - 993
7. Scroll down and under Outgoing server address add smtp.talktalk.net
   Security type - Outgoing STARTTLS
   Port - 587
8. Turn off Authentication required before sending emails and select SIGN IN
9. Your account is ready to use

To check the OS version on your Samsung Galaxy S7:

1. Select Settings
2. Select About device
3. Select Software info
4. The software version is displayed below Android version

1. From the Home screen scroll right
2. Select Email
3. Select More
4. Select Others
5. If a pop up screen advising of permission is needed then select Enable
6. Add  your full email addressand add your email password
7. Select SIGN IN
8. Select IMAP
9. Under Username add your full email address
   Under Password add your email password
10. Scroll down
    Under Server add mail.talktalk.net
    Under Port add 993
11. Scroll down
    Under Security type choose SSL
    After you have chosen a security type the value under Port may change, if so change to 993
12. Choose NEXT , the settings will be checked, select NEXT
13. Under SMTP server enter smtp.talktalk.net
    Under Port add 587
14. Scroll down
    Under Security type choose STARTTLS
    After you have chosen a security type the value under Port may change, if so change to 587
15. If Require sign-in is unticked, tick Require sign-in
    If Require sign-in is ticked, go to the next step
16. Scroll down
    Under Username , enter your full email address
    Under Password enter your email password
17. Choose NEXT , the settings will be checked, select NEXT
18. Under Sync frequency , choose an option. Optional: tick or untick one or more options. Choose NEXT

The email account has been configured and is ready for use. Return to the Start screen.

To check the OS version on your Huawei P10;

1. Select Settings
2. Select About Phone
3. The softweare version is displayed nect to About Android

1. From the home screen, swipe left
2. Select Email
3. Select Others
4. Enter your Email address and Password and select Next
5. Select IMAP
6. Under Username add your full email address
   Under Password add your email password
7. Under Server add mail.talktalk.net
   Under Port add 993
   Under Security type select TLS
   Select Next
8. Under Outgoing server add smtp.talktalk.net
   Under Port add 587
   Under Security type add STARTTLS
   Uncheck the Require sign-in checkbox and select Next
9. Choose desired settings and select Next

The email account has been configured and is ready for use. Return to the Start screen.

To check the software version of your Honor:

1. Select Settings

2. Select System

3. Select About phone where the version of Android OS is displayed

Install the Outlook for Android app from the Google Play Store and then open it.

1. Select Add Account
2. Enter your email address
3. Select Continue
4. Select IMAP
5. Enter your email password (select the crossed out eye icon to display)
6. Under Display name add how you would like your name to be seen
7. Add description
8. Select Advanced Settings
9. Under IMAP Incoming Mail Server add mail.talktalk.net and Port 993
   Security Type - SSL/TLS
   Under IMAP Username add your full email address
   Under IMAP Password enter your email password
   Scroll down
10. Under SMTP Outgoing Mail Server add smtp.talktalk.net and Port 587
    Security Type - STARTTLS
    Under SMTP Username add your full email address
    Under SMTP Password add your email password
11. Check that everything is correct
12. Select the tick top right
13. The app will then login to your email account
