TalkTalk Help & Support

Email settings to access TalkTalk emails

You can access your TalkTalk email in two simple ways:

  • Through TalkTalk Webmail
  • Using an email app on your phone, tablet or computer

If you’re setting up an email app, we’ll guide you through the settings you need.

Using TalkTalk Webmail

The quickest way to check your emails is through TalkTalk Webmail.
Just go to apps.talktalk.co.uk and sign in using your email address and password.

Using an email app on your device

Using an email app on your device
You can also access your TalkTalk emails using an email app such as:

  • Apple Mail
  • Outlook
  • Android or iOS email apps

Before changing any email settings, we recommend backing up your emails on your device. Your email app or software provider can help you with this.

We recommend using IMAP.
Why IMAP is best
IMAP keeps your emails stored on our servers as well as on your device. This means:

  • Your emails stay in sync across devices
  • You won’t lose emails if you change or replace a device

POP3 is still supported, but it downloads emails to one device only.

Use the details below when setting up your TalkTalk email in an app.

Some older security settings are no longer supported, to keep your emails safe.

Important security checks

If you’re having trouble:

  • Check your email app settings
  • Make sure SSL/TLS is selected
  • Use the correct port numbers (993 for IMAP, 995 for POP3)

If you change these settings, your emails should start working again.
