Three Way Call
Want to speak to two people at the same time? You can easily add another person to your call using your phone.
Before you start
Make sure you’re using a touch-tone phone with a Recall (R) button.
Quick steps:
- Call the first person
- Press R (Recall) – you’ll hear a dial tone
- Call the second person
- When they answer, press R (Recall) again
- Press 3 to connect everyone together
Switch between callers:
After adding a second person, you can choose how you talk:
Press 3 → Talk to both people together
Press 2 → Talk to the second person only
End the call:
You’ve got a few options:
Press R + 5 → End the call with the first person only
Press R + 7 → End the call with the second person only
Hang up → End the call with everyone
Need help?
If it’s not working:
- Check your phone has a Recall (R) button
- Make sure you press R and wait for the dial tone before dialling
- If you don’t hear a tone, try again more slowly
