About Call Waiting
This is a handy service that lets you know when someone's trying to reach you while you're on a call. You'll hear a discreet alert letting you know someone else is trying to get through. You can then choose to swap the call or wait and call them back when you're finished.
How do I use Call Waiting?
Using your touch tone phone:
- Dial * 4 3 # to switch it on.
- If you hear the alert and you’d like to switch between calls, just press R or the Redial button.
- To check if Call Waiting is active, dial * # 4 3 #
- To switch off Call Waiting, dial # 4 3 # at any time.
