Change your payment date
We’ll send your bill around the same time each month, and it will include a payment due date. To keep your account up to date, it’s important that your balance is paid by this date.
Once you’ve paid your first bill, you can choose a payment date that works better for you.
You can find your current payment due date:
- On your monthly bill
- In My Account, under Bills and payments
If you pay by Direct Debit, your payment will be taken automatically on (or just after) your due date.
You can change your payment due date if:
- Your TalkTalk service is live
- You haven’t changed your payment date in the last 3 months
If you’re still waiting for your service to go live, you can track your order online until everything’s up and running.
Changing your payment date is quick and easy.
- Log in to My Account
- Select Bills and Payments in the navigation menu
- Select Change payment due date
- Select one of the available dates
- Select Save Changes
- A confirmation message will be displayed with your new payment due date
It’s important to know that:
- Your payment will be taken on or just after your new payment due date
- Your billing period will also change
Because of this, your next bill may be slightly higher or lower than usual. This is normal and will even out on future bills.
If you already have an unpaid bill, that payment will still be taken on the original due date shown on that bill. Your new payment date will apply from your next bill onwards.
